Setup

Connect the assistant you already use.

Add the Photonfolio connection in a compatible assistant app, then approve access in your browser. Your active connections appear in Photonfolio settings.

What is Photonfolio MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects a compatible AI assistant to Photonfolio. With your approval, it can find photos, summarize projects, and draft recommendations using the access you choose.

How does an assistant connect?

Add the Photonfolio MCP URL to a supported assistant app, then approve the connection in your browser. Active connections remain visible in Photonfolio settings.

Can an assistant change my galleries or billing?

No. Assistants can read approved information and draft recommendations. You make gallery, photo, billing, upload, editing, and account changes yourself in Photonfolio.

How is access limited?

Each connection has approved access areas, expiration, audit records, and a disconnect control. Assistants receive only the access needed for the MCP tools they use.

Which assistant apps can I use?

Photonfolio works with remote MCP clients that support browser approval, including Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT or OpenAI API setups, and other compatible MCP clients.
